Jonathan Muhlendorf, CFP®
My passion for helping people with their money began in 1998 at The University of Virginia's Planned Giving Department. Charitable planning inspired me to become a financial planner so I could continue to help people put their money to good use for themselves, their families, and their community.
In 2003 I was honored to become a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and worked for ultra-wealthy families in the Washington, D.C. area. My clients included an NFL team owner, a former IRS commissioner, a Supreme Court Justice, a Governor, Member of the Federal Reserve Board, and many local business owners.
In 2005 I decided to move back to the Virginia Beach, start a family, and open my own financial planning practice focused on business owners, retirees and surviving spouses.
Those who know me well think my greatest gift is my ability to get right to the point and provide straightforward answers.
The most important decision I have made over my 23 year career is to give unbiased advice with no corporate agenda, sales goals, or conflicts of interest.
What is most important to me is my wife, Alyssa, our two teenage children, and supporting our local community. If I am not helping a client, with my family, or working for my community, I enjoy taking care of my 250 gallon saltwater aquarium and sailing on "Livin the Dream" my Jeanneau 439 sailboat.
